Route description

You can travel to the central train station in Aachen (D), Maastricht (NL) or Heerlen (NL). From there you can take public transport to Vaals.

From Maastricht: line 350

Car:

From Eindhoven/Heerlen:
A2/E25 in the direction of Maastricht; at the height of Geleen-junction Kerensheide, follow the A76/E314 in the direction of Aachen until the exit Vaals; follow the signs for Vaals. After entering Vaals, take the third street on the right. You will see Hotel Kasteel Bloemendal in front of you.

From Aachen-Autobahn A4:
A4/E314 in the direction of Heerlen/Antwerp and take exit Laurensberg (beyond Center Aachen). At the traffic lights turn right towards Universitätsklinikum; follow the road in the direction Universitätsklinikum RWTH and Maastricht (NL). Beyond the Universitätsklinikum and at the T-intersection (at traffic lights) turn right towards Vaals (NL). From the border take the fifth street on the left (from the roundabout, this is the second street on the left). You will see Hotel Kasteel Bloemendal in front of you.

From Liège/Maastricht:
A2/E25 in the direction of Maastricht. For Maastricht, take the exit Vaals/Cadier en Keer-N278-. Follow this road through villages like Cadier en Keer, Margraten, Gulpen and Nijswiller. After ± 30 km you'll enter Vaals and take the third street on the right. You will see Hotel Kasteel Bloemendal in front of you.

From Brussel/Antwerp:
A2/E314 in the direction of Aachen; at the height of Geleen-junction Kerensheide-continue following the A76/E314 in the direction of Aachen until the exit Vaals; follow the signs for Vaals. After entering Vaals, take the third street on the right. You will see Hotel Kasteel Bloemendal in front of you.
