• Is Hotel Bloemendal an official wedding venue?

  The banquet halls and the beautiful garden at Hotel Bloemendal are officially recognized as a wedding venue by the Municipality of Vaals for couples in which at least one partner holds Dutch citizenship.

• What venues are available?

  Hotel Bloemendal offers four stylish venues. The venues vary in size and atmosphere, so there’s always a suitable venue for your wedding reception.

  Available rooms:
  * Salon
  * Tuinkamer (Garden Room)
  * Refectorium
  * Monastère

  Wedding ceremonies can be held in the garden. This is weather-dependent.

• What are the capacities per room for a dinner setup with round tables?

  * Salon: N/A
  * Tuinkamer: 40 people
  * Refectorium: 64 people
  * Monastère: 150 people

• What are the capacities per room when set up for dinner with a long table?

  * Salon: 22 people
  * Garden Room: 26 people
  * Refectorium: 32 people
  * Monastère: 32 people

• What are the capacities per room for a reception (standing)?

  * Salon: N/A
  * Garden Room: 70 people
  * Refectorium: 100 people
  * Monastere: 250 people

• What event packages are available at the hotel?

  All events are customized. Hotel Bloemendal offers a variety of beverage packages and dinner options. Please send your request to b.sales@bloemendal.valk.nl and you will receive a personalized quote.

• Is the venue rental included?

  For parties and celebrations, a venue rental fee will be charged. This fee depends on the venue and the number of guests.

• What else is included?

  Hotel Bloemendal provides appropriate floral arrangements on the tables in all rooms. Cutlery, tableware, linens, and service are also included in the price.

• Are there any requirements for (live) entertainment?

  Our rooms feature stylish background music; the volume can be adjusted for each room.
  Would you like a DJ, band, or other entertainment?
  We’ll take the need for a good night’s sleep for our guests and neighbors into account.
  For the Monastère room, the closing time is 1:00 a.m., and for the rooms on the reception floor, the closing time is midnight.

• Are there any special dietary requirements or allergies to accommodate, such as lactose-free or nut-free?

  We're happy to work with you! In consultation with our kitchen staff, we take dietary preferences and allergies into account.

• Can I reserve hotel rooms for my wedding?

  Hotel rooms can be reserved through the banquet sales department. Rates depend on the number of rooms and your desired check-in date.
  Hotel Bloemendal also has 2 bridal suites (subject to availability).

• When is a reservation considered a group reservation (number of guests)?

  A reservation is considered a group booking if it includes more than 10 adults.

• When is a reservation considered a group reservation (number of rooms)?

  A reservation is considered a group booking if it includes more than 5 rooms.
